All you need to know about your farm stay in Saalfelden
Relaxed stay on a historic site
Farm holidays in Austria on our Klinglerhof are equally fun and relaxed. The old farm built in 1773 is rich in fascinating history that can be felt at every corner of our house. However, you don’t have to forgo any modern amenities during your farm stay in Saalfelden / Maria Alm. Learn more about the house and its residents here.
Originally built in 1773, the small farm became one of the largest of the region due to the purchase of three more farms and the extension of the original farm building in 1850. Currently, 50 cattle and five Noriker horses scrimmage on a total area of 350 ha. The land also includes the golf court, 270 ha of mountain pastures and ample forest and meadow areas that are farmed by your host family Hölzl. The alpine hut Grundalm and the currently leased Hochalm are also part of the accommodation in Saalfelden.
